About the Role
We are seeking experienced and driven Contract Consultants to join our team as subject matter experts on a variety of upcoming projects. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis and as specific projects arise. We need consultants with expertise in the following areas:
•Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy
•Organizational Development and Leadership Coaching
•Strategic Planning and Implementation
•Governance and Board Development
•Financial Sustainability for Nonprofits
•Community Engagement and Base-Building
•Human-Centered Design and Transformation
•Research, Data Analysis, and Evaluation
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Provide subject matter expertise for clients in the specified fields
Contribute to the design and implementation of strategic initiatives
Lead and facilitate workshops, trainings, and stakeholder meetings
Conduct research and analysis to inform client recommendations
Collaborate with SDC leadership and other team members to meet client objectives
Provide written reports, presentations, and documentation for clients
Participate in ongoing learning and development to stay current with industry best practices
Requirements:
Proven experience in consulting, with a strong track record in the listed subject areas
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and community empowerment
Experience working with nonprofit organizations or community-based groups is a plus
Relevant certifications or advanced degrees in your field are preferred

Compensation will be based on the scope of individual projects starting at $75/hour.
